Christina Corwin, ma, lmft (she/Her)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MN board approved supervisor for LMFT, LPC, LPCC, Managing Director and Co-founder of Cedar Valley

In my life and work I’ve found a profound passion to foster meaningful connections by healing relationships both for myself and others. For the past 20 years I have worked with adults, families and children in a variety of settings focusing exactly on that, healing relationships. Through this work I found that broken connections are often influenced by trauma or attachment injuries. When we feel truly seen and understood amazing things can happen including meaningful connections. You might be experience distress or frustration in your daily life and feel like you don’t know why the same things keep happening. Using a compassionate approach we can work together to find the patterns that are keeping you from making meaningful connections and also find new ways to reduce the daily distress you are feeling. In all of my work I utilize an attachment, trauma responsive, developmental perspective.

When working with children I value the caregiver/child relationship and believe that therapy for children can be the most beneficial when working with both child and parent together. I ask parents to expect to join some or all sessions.
