Megan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a board approved supervisor. Megan is available to provide supervision for those seeking licensure as an LMFT.
Megan has worked in the mental health field since 1999. During that time, she has had a variety of roles, from Applied Behavioral Analyst to in-home family therapist. Megan utilizes an attachment and/or systemic approach with clients and focuses on building strong relationships within the client's life.
Megan has experience with a variety of clinical concerns/challenges, but has extensive training in play therapy and DBT therapy for adolescents and adults. She has experience working with couples, families, and individuals ranging in age from 18 months to the elderly. Megan is trained in the Prepare/Enrich Inventories for Premarital and Marital Counseling. She likes to work with couples experiencing various life challenges, including preparing for a marriage or even preparing for marital dissolution and frequently works with families that have had to adjust or are currently adjusting to challenging situations such as death, birth of a child, divorce, or remarriage/blended families.
