Natalie started at Cedar Valley in October of 2018, and is currently working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been working with children, adolescents, and teenagers (ages 2-16) for the past 10 years in various settings of preschool, group homes, and in-home skills work. Natalie also has clinical experience working with adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression, experiencing life transitions, and severe and persistent mental health issues.

Natalie’s clinical interests focus on working with children and adolescents who have experienced developmental trauma, individuals who are struggling with life transitions, anxiety, and depression, families who have experienced domestic abuse or conflict, and encouraging families through parenting interventions and support. She utilizes an integrative approach with influences from family systems theory, direct and non-directive play therapy, developmental and trauma informed practices, and Adlerian theory. Natalie values the importance of creating an encouraging therapeutic environment based on a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel valued and heard, as well supported in meeting their therapeutic goals.
