Nikki Knudson-Dalal, MA, LMFT, LADC

Nikki is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Board Approved Supervisor in Minnesota. Nikki is available to provide supervision for those seeking licensure as an LMFT.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Nikki can integrate her knowledge of substance abuse and recovery issues and how it affects relational dynamics and the family.

When doing therapy, Nikki is trauma-informed and mainly uses a combination of, Strength Based, Client-Centered and Solution-Focused approaches. By this, she means she will assist you in coming up with your own solutions and ideas for personal insight, change and growth.

· Bachelor of Science- Corrections, Minnesota State University-Mankato

· Metropolitan State University- St. Paul, MN-Completed Alcohol and Drug Counseling courses for licensure

Areas of clinical interest and experience

· Adults addressing and exploring substance abuse, sobriety, chemical health and recovery.

· Supporting couples and families encountering communication struggles, parenting issues, family of origin, mental health and chemical health difficulties within the relationship.

· Working with adults (men and women) struggling with depression, anxiety, lack of self- esteem and confidence, relational struggles, divorce, ADHD and maintaining a work-life balance.

· Mom’s struggling with parenting, parenting neurodivergent children, loneliness, relational struggles, perimenopause/menopause, work-life balance and stress.

· Older adults struggling with life transitions, retirement, care giving, adult children, age related health issues, relational struggles, mental and chemical health.
