I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 13 years of clinical experience. I work with individuals (ages 14+) and families. I aim to create a safe and comfortable environment, where you can freely explore the struggles and challenges that are impacting your daily life and leave your therapy session feeling a sense of direction and hope.
I specialize in working with individuals and family systems struggling with trauma, grief, loss, addiction, sexual assault, parents with a special needs child or loss of a child, domestic violence and daughters whose mothers struggle with significant mental health.
My therapeutic approach is a combination of Strength Based, Client-Centered and Solution-Focused with a Psychoeducational approach. This means that I will work with you to come up with your own solutions for the struggles you are experiencing while coaching/teaching you what may be the reason you are responding the way you do. With this process, you will be able to make knowledgeable changes for growth.
